The premier international conference for IT storage professionals, Storage Decisions, visited Australia for the first time in 2009 with a successful one day event at the Westin in Sydney last April. In 2010 it's Melbourne's turn to host the event, which will be held at the all new Melbourne Convention Centre on May 12th. Featuring international storage guru, W. Curtis Preston, and leading local technology experts (SNIA Storage Academy), Storage Decisions Australia 2009 attracted over 130 storage-focused IT professionals from enterprise, government and SMB sectors across Australia and New Zealand. Supported by SNIA ANZ, the event is a joint venture between TechTarget ANZ (SearchStorage.com.au) and TechTarget USA, run by WFevents (Voice&Data). Curtis is back again in 2010 with an all new day of presentations, with backup, de-dupe, virtualisation and storage reduction among his key focal points.
